Re: Lawry's Pinch of Herbs . Here goes again. This is for the "zippier" version of Lawry's Pinch of Herbs-- the ginger, cumin, sage, and cayenne are not listed as ingredients of the Lowry's product, but the proportions might be helpful. The Pinch of Herbs also contains salt and sugar.
3 T toasted sesame seeds, 2 T each: dried oregano & dried sage, 1 T dried basil, 2 t each: thyme, black pepper, 1 t each cumin & garlic powder, 1/2 t each cayenne pepper and ground ginger
Combine all ingredients well. Note that this recipe doesn't include rosemary, which is in the Pinch of Herbs. Probably will want to experiment with the proportion. This recipe was found by someone in Secrets From a Caterer's Kitchen by Nicole Aloni, who said it compared nicely to the Pinch of Herbs, which she could no longer find. At least it's a start for trying to replicate! Hope this helps.
