TNT Walnut Sweet Meats 6 servings:
1 c. walnut halves 2 tbs. Da Vinci or Torani sugar-free French vanilla syrup 2 tbs. melted butter (optional) 1/4 tsp. cinnamon or to taste Salt to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Toss walnuts with syrup and butter until well coated. Sprinkle with cinnamon and salt. Bake about 10-12 minutes or until they look toasted
I like to sprinkle them with powdered Splenda Per serving: 2.06 gm carb, 0.48 oz. protein
Pecan Variation: Use sugar free caramel syrup. 2.3 gm Carb, 0.25 oz. protein (Put Splenda in food processor until powdered)
