Barbo's Passover Trifle
One sponge cake cut into slices I make this from a boxed sponge cake for Passover
1 jar raspberry jam, regular or sugar free 1 large SF vanilla instant pudding mix Made according to directions (I added cream to the milk) optional *1 1/2 c Sugar Free Cool Whip or whipping cream to mix into pudding Whipped cream for top
Cut the slices of cake and spread with jam, place in bottom Of bowl add custard, keep layering ending with custard Right before serving top with whipping cream. Toasted buttered almonds are good for a sprinkle atop the cream.
For Passover I made the potato starch sponge cake from a box mix special for Passover.
