This is a WW recipe made up by my friend Tricia or me. I cannot remember which one of us created this about 15 years ago.
Bechamel (White Sauce) 4 Servings
2 c. ff or lf milk 3 tbs. flour 4 tsp. butter, or fat of your choice 1/4 tsp. salt
Heat butter until sizzling add flour and stir around until it bubbles, add milk and salt and continue stirring until thickened.
2 c. cooked pasta (whole wheat or white) 4 oz. crab meat flaked (imitation is good) 2 oz. cheddar or favorite cheese, shredded
Pam spray 8x8 pan. Lay a bit of the white sauce down first. Next put the pasta, then the crab, then cheese and top with all of the sauce. Bake 350 for about 25 minutes until hot and bubbly. Let rest and cut into 4 servings.
1 bread, 1 1/2 protein, 1/4 milk, 1/2 fat, 10 optional calories.
