Great Hot Bacon Salad & Dressing Fry 3 slices bacon, remove. You should have 3-4 tbs. fat in skillet 2 rounded tbs. flour 1 c. water 1/2 c.any good wine vingegar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. black pepper 4 tbs. granular Splenda or to taste. Baby Spinach Sliced portabella mushrooms Sliced ripe tomatoes Place flour into hot bacon fat, and stir as for roux. Mix water with everything except Splenda and stir constantly as dressing is thickening. Taste and add Splenda until you have the sweet/sour taste you like. Add a bit of water if dressing needs thinning. Large bowl of washed and dried baby spinach. Crumble bacon over spinach, add sliced tomatoes, slice baby portabella mushrooms. Add hot bacon dressing, toss well and eat hearty.
