CHICKEN BUNDLES
Serves: 8
Points: 5.5
Ingredients: 4 oz. light cream cheese, softened 4 ounces Light Laughing Cow Garlic & Herb cheese 1/4 tsp salt and pepper or Cavendars Greek Seasoning 1/4 cup finely chopped onion 4 cups or 16 ounces cubed, cooked chicken 2 TBLS milk 1 8oz can reduced fat crescent rolls bread crumbs garlic & herb flavor
Instructions: Combine cheeses, salt, pepper, milk, onion. Blend. Pour mixture over chicken and stir.
Separate crescent roll dough into 8 pieces, shape each piece of dough into a circle. Between 2 sheets of saran wrap or wax paper sprayed with nonstick spray roll each piece of dough into a circle large enough to wrap around 1/8th (about 1/2 cup) of the chicken mixture.
Place 1/8th (about 1/2 cup) of the chicken mixture in the middle of the dough and bring the edges of the dough up to meet and press edges together to seal the dough - spray the tops with butter flavored non stick spray and sprinkle each chicken bundle with 1/2 teaspoon breadcrumbs and place on greased cookie sheet or pizza stone.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes.
These are so tasty! The kids and DH love to see these on the menu. [/color]
I serve these with mashed potatoes, gravy (made from a Knorr mix) and green beans.
