Equatorial Steaks Ingredients 8 0z. Laura's Lean Beef strip steak (cut in two servings) olive oil 1 large garlic clove, crushed 3/4 cup white wine 3 fresh basil leaves, chopped Directions Moisten the bottom of an iron skillet with olive oil. Gently heat the garlic until it starts to brown. Raise the heat to high, put in the steaks, and turn them to brown. Add the basil and the wine 1/4 cup at a time, letting it reduce com[pletely between each addition. Reduce all the wine in about seven or eight minutes for medium-rare. Remove the steaks to a warm serving plate and deglaze the skillet with about 1/2 cup warm water to make a light sauce. Pour sauce over steaks.
