Asian Sesame Pork Chops Serves 2
2 boneless pork loin chops 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil 1 tablespoon sesame seeds 1/2 teaspoon powered ginger 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce 2 tablespoons dry white wine 1/4 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced 1 green onion and top, sliced 1/2 teaspoon butter
Heat the sesame oil and vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown chops on both sides, sprinkling with sesame seed and ginger. When both sides are browned, add mushrooms and onions; stir gently for about 2 minutes. Now add the soy sauce and wine to the skillet, cooking another 2 minutes. Remove chops and keep warm. Add butter to pan, stirring constantly to deglaze pan (use a whisk to get all the browned bits up). Then pour mushroom-onion sauce over chops to serve.
