CHERRY SMOOTHIE Try this quick and easy treat for breakfast or as an after school snack. Recipe from the Cherry Marketing Institute.
1 very ripe banana, peeled 1 cup frozen unsweetened tart cherries 1 cup skim milk
Put banana, frozen cherries and milk in the container of an electric blender; purée until smooth. Serve immediately. Makes 2 Servings.
Per Serving: 133 Cal; 1 g Total Fat; 28 g Carb; 2 mg Cholesterol; 64 mg Sodium; 5 g Protein; 3 g Fiber.
Exchanges: 2 Fruit; 1/2 Nonfat Milk.
