BARBO'S PASTA BEAN SOUP(this soups rates 15!}
30 ounces navy beans, canned-drained 28 ounces canned tomatoes 30 ounces nonfat chicken broth 1 small red onion -- diced 3 cloves garlic -- minced 1 tbsp. olive oil 1/2 tsp dried basil salt & pepper to taste 2 cups cooked pasta*{use whole wheat on CORE} 1 tsp Splenda{optional}
In large soup pot place the olive oil, sauté the onions and garlic. Add the tomato, chicken broth, beans and all seasonings. Cook 15 min. Add cooked pasta and heat for another 5 minutes. 12{1 cup} servings @ 2 Points each
