BARBO'S INSTANT LOW CARB SAUCE MIX
2 cups Carbalose flour
2 tablespoons carbalose flour
4 ounces butter
3/4 tablespoon salt
3/4 tablespoon pepper
Place everything in food processor and whirl until the mix is like coarse sand.
Makes 3 cups or 48 tablespoons
3 Tablespoons Mix: 92 Calories; 7g Fat; 4g Protein; 7g Carbohydrate; 4g Dietary Fiber; 3g Net Carbs
3/4 Cup Mix: 366 Calories; 29g Fat; 17g Protein; 26g Carbohydrate; 16g Dietary Fiber; 10g Net Carbs
The liquid can be Calorie Countdown milk, a cream and water combination, broth or a combination of milk/cream and broth. Add cheese for a cheese sauce or sauteed mushrooms and beef broth for a beefy mushroom sauce.
