Christine's LC Lasagna

I love lasagna and this really tastes delicious!! You can vary what you put in it,sometimes I do onions, and sometimes I leave out the tomatoes.
Meat Sauce
1 - 1.5 Lb Lean Hamburger
3/4 C Fresh Tomatoes chopped fine (@6 g)
3/4 C Water
1/2 C fresh mushrooms chopped
1/2 C Hunt's tomato juice (4.5g)
Salt and Pepper to taste
Garlic seasoning
Italian seasoning
Cook these items down in saucepan, usually about 45 minutes, put a small amount on bottom of lasagna dish. Split remaining in half.
Mix in bowl the following:
1C Full Tilt Cottage Cheese (@6g)
1 1/2 C Ricotta Cheese (@11g)
2 eggs (beaten)
1C Mozzerella Cheese (you can do half cheddar)
1/2 C Parmesan Cheese
S/P, Garlic
Split mixture in half
Put half cheese mixture in dish, layer half meat mixture on top, repeat. Sprinkle with some parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 for about 45 min. I have done this different every time. Just experiment! Everytime I have fixed it, the carb count has come out to about 5g per serving (fairly healthy servings). This really helps me with my italian food cravings and you will never miss the noodles!!!
