Best Pumpkin Bread Ever

1 cup pumpkin — Libby’s 1 cup packed light brown sugar 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1/2 serving buttermilk 1 egg 1 tablespoon butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Sift the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg into a large bowl. Mix in the pumpkin, brown sugar, buttermilk, egg and butter until well blended. Pour into a 9x5 inch loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
