You don't need any special ingreds. I resisted this recipe for
at least 10 days, but as I looked at the pictures of how good this was and the raves that it got. I knew I had to try it. You cut it
with a pizza cutter and can eat it outta your hand. There is NO
cauliflower taste to it. This gal is genious.
Jay prepped tri color peppers, onions, garlic, mushrooms, I made
Italian sausage and we used a very good sauce. I sauteed vegies
in olive oil. Jay said he felt like we went out for pizza. Happy DH!

Low Carb Pizza
Cauli-riced Crust
Cleochatra
You Won't Believe it's Cauliflower Pizza Crust
1 cup cooked, riced cauliflower**
1 egg
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1/2 tsp. fennel
1 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. parsley
Pizza or Alfredo sauce
Toppings of choice
Mozzarella cheese
*I like Chedarella so I grated some and added it.
I used dashes of Parmesano/Reggiano (barbo)
Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray.
In a medium bowl, combine cauliflower, egg and mozzarella. Press evenly on the pan. Sprinkle evenly with fennel, oregano and parsley.
Bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes (15-20 minutes if you double the recipe).
Remove the pan from the oven. To the crust, add sauce, then toppings and cheese.
Place under a broiler at high heat just until cheese is melted.
It took 3 minutes in my broiler (barbo)
**I use frozen cauliflower prepared according to package directions. After cooked and slightly cooled, I shred cauliflower with a cheese grater, and then measure for the recipe. (Don't pack down the cup with cauliflower. Just fill it with a spoon or the cup itself.) Cleochatra
Barbo: I used fresh, steamed 8 min. Cooled quickly and dried
and then pulsed in processor just until it looks like rice.
I truly hope that some of you will try this wonderful pizza.
It will be a staple in our home.
Thanks Cleo!
