Simple Stroganoff and Parsley Noodles
Parsley Noodles
Source of Recipe: JoAnna M. Lund
Serves 2 (1/2 cup)
List of Ingredients
1 cup hot cooked noodles, rinsed and drained
1 tablespoon reduced-calorie margarine
2 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine hot noodles and margarine. Add parsley flakes and black pepper. Mix well to combine. Serve at once.
HINTS:
1. A scant cup uncooked noodles usually cooks to about 1 cup.
2. The microwave works great to heat noodles, if using left overs.
Each serving equals:
HE: 1 Bread, 3/4 Fat
132 Calories, 4gm Fat, 4gm Protien, 20gm Carbohydrate,
75mg Sodium, 14mg Calcium, 1gm Fiber
DIABETIC: 1 Starch, 1 Fat

I really liked this It was very good. I had it with the below recipe for Stroganoff, and loved every bite! I also added petite peas to mine, and used chived instead of parlsey cause I don't like parsley. 5 stars. Heather

Simple Stroganoff

Serves 2 (3/4 cup)

List of Ingredients
8 ounces extra lean ground turkey or beef
1/2 cup thinly sliced onion
1/3 cup Land O Lakes no-fat sour cream
1 cup (one 4-ounce can) sliced mushrooms, undrained
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
Instructions
In a large skillet sprayed with butter-flavored cooking spray, saute meat and onion for 6 to 8 minutes. Stir in sour cream, undrained mushrooms, and parsley flakes. Lower heat and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes or until mixture is heated through.

HE: 3 Protien, 1 1/2 Vegetable, 1/2 Slider

This was excellent with the above noodles. I would like it in a variety of ways though. I really really liked it, it was beefy, rich and creamy! And I used turkey instead of beef. If you like beef stroganoff give this a try! It was also simple and easy to make! Deffinately a winter comfort food, and man pleasing! It gets all 5 stars! Heather
