The recipe is made with regular sugars in the book; I added the Splenda Brown Sugar Blend in my Mastercook copy as I like to use it.

-------- ------------ --------------------------------
vegetable cooking spray
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup wheat and barley cereal nuggests
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup Splenda Brown Sugar Blend
OR 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup unsalted margarine -- melted
1/4 cup egg substitute
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 375°F .
Lightly coat 2 nonstick baking sheets with cooking spray.
In a food processor, combine the flour, cereal, and baking powder. Process until cereal is finely ground, about 1 minute.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the brown sugar substitute, granulated sugar, and margarine until totally incorporated. Add the egg substitute and vanilla, beating until light and fluffy.
With a wooden spoon, stir in the flour mixture. Drop the dough by the 1/2 tablespoon, placing them about 2 inches apart and making 40 cookies in all.
Bale until the edges begin to brown and cracks begin to appear on the tops of the cookies, 7 to 8 minutes. Cool completely on wire racks.
