Cheese Puff for One
Serving Size: 1
2 slices Oro Wheat Light Bread (or other light bread) 1 large egg 1/2 cup milk, skim 1 ounce cheddar cheese, low-fat -- shredded (should give you about 1/4 cup) pinch onion powder pinch salt pinch cayenne
Cut bread into strips; place with buttered sides down along the sides and bottom of a 10-oz. custard cup or small casserole. In a bowl, lightly beat the egg; add milk, cheese, onion salt, salt and hot cayenne. Pour into custard cup. Place on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until puffy and golden brown. Serve immediately.
